Born in Western Upstate NY, Skyla went to Alfred University in 2014, College of Art and Design and graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor's in Fine Arts, minoring in Philosophy and Psychology (2018). Now, Skyla is a teaching artist and private instructor at Flower City Arts Center, and is a Creative Arts Coordinator for the Arc of Monroe day habilitation program, Community Arts Connection. Over the past three years, Skyla has proudly displayed her work in local coffee shops and small galleries taking part in solo exhibitions, and group shows.
